The Istituto Cavazza and
Bologna's health institutions present their project at Exposanità
2006.
The
Istituto Cavazza was kept quite busy during Exposanità 2006, a four-day event.
This year, besides the usual institutional stand, the Institute has set up a
dedicated area, opened to visitors, for the Accessible Pharmacy, a project
developed in collaboration with AFM S.p.A., community pharmacies. Moreover, a
conference, which was organized in collaboration with the AUSL of the City of
Bologna, was held on Friday, May 26.
Entitled "Support for persons with vision impairment: Bologna's AUSL and the
Istituto Cavazza standing for a network of services and opportunities", the
conference welcomed important speakers who provided new information and
described intervention tools for social workers, health and school
professionals through the synergistic relationship between Bologna's AUSL and
the Istituto Cavazza. During this event,
a theorical analysis was proposed on avenues for school training of
persons who live with vision loss, as well as a summarized review of
experiences and short and long term objectives.
